Arcade Cast Iron Ford Model T Center-Door Sedan, c.1923–27
Step back into the roaring 1920s with this Arcade Manufacturing Co. cast iron Ford Model T Center-Door Sedan, an American toy icon produced in Freeport, Illinois between 1923 and 1927. Cast in heavy iron and finished in a vivid factory blue, this handsome sedan captures the spirit of early motoring with its classic arched fenders, tall roofline, and paneled door design.
Arcade’s attention to detail is evident here—from the nickel-finished removable driver to the embossed “ARCADE MFG CO” marking on the chassis and internal S4/S2 casting codes used for mold identification. Designed for durability and realism, these toys were proudly marketed as “toys that look like the real thing,” and this example still exudes that timeless charm a century later.
Condition:
Good condition overall, showing authentic age and use. The paint appears original, with moderate surface wear and flaking on high points consistent with age. The driver figure remains intact and removable, and the wheels turn freely. No cracks or repairs observed. A genuine survivor from Arcade’s golden era of cast-iron toy production.

4 x 7 x 3 inches (H x W x D)
