Steel Wire Tree Sculpture on Natural Stone Base — Bonsai Form
A hand-fabricated steel wire tree sculpture rises from a natural uncut stone base, its braided trunk separating progressively from heavy twisted strands into finely curled branch tips that fill the canopy with convincing organic movement. The composition follows a classic bonsai silhouette — a leaning trunk, asymmetric crown spread, and surface roots gripping the stone — rendered in dark oxidized steel wire against a granite-grey base. The branching structure shows deliberate hand-shaping at every tier, from major limbs down to hair-fine terminal tendrils.
CONDITION Good. The sculpture is structurally sound with no damage, broken branches, or detachment from the stone base. Wire surface shows oxidation consistent with the dark finish and intended aesthetic.
