Oak End Table & Magazine Cabinet — Turned Legs, Spindle Rack
A matched pair of vintage solid oak pieces in the American Country / Colonial Revival style. The end table features a .75"-thick rounded-corner top, single full-width drawer with two turned wood knobs, a scalloped skirt apron, and four reeded-column legs joined by a flat H-stretcher on square pad feet. The companion magazine cabinet combines a two-door storage compartment — arched raised-panel doors with turned wood knobs — with an open spindle rack built on shaped scroll-cut bracket sides and a molded plinth base with bracket feet. Both pieces share the same warm honey-amber oak finish, solid oak construction throughout, and a consistent turned-detail vocabulary.
Lot includes both the end table and the magazine rack cabinet.
CONDITION
Fair. Both pieces are sturdy and fully functional with no structural issues. Finish wear and loss is concentrated on the end table top, which shows staining and surface wear consistent with years of use; remaining surfaces and the cabinet present with lighter wear. Cosmetic refinishing to the tabletop is recommended.
