1978 GAF View-Master Spacemen Theatre In The Round Set — Star Trek, Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers
Complete GAF View-Master "Spacemen Theatre In The Round" set from 1978, packaged in the original purple cylindrical canister with full-color graphics featuring the Starship Enterprise, Spock throwing the Vulcan salute, and three kids mid-projection on a living-room floor. The set pairs the classic red GAF Model L stereo viewer with the blue and green Entertainer Projector (Model LV-1) — the same 2-D wall projector pictured on the canister art. The canister doubles as permanent storage, with a molded purple lid stamped with the GAF View-Master logo and recessed wells sized for ten reels.
The set originally shipped with ten stereo reels covering the era's biggest space properties: Star Trek ("Mr. Spock's Time Trek" and "The Omega Glory"), Flash Gordon ("The Planet Mongo"), and Buck Rogers ("Battle on the Moon"). Staff confirms all ten reels are present and the projector has been tested and functions — supplemental imagery shows a projected frame of a live-action figure cast onto a wall. This is the set Gen-X kids dragged into the closet on a Saturday afternoon to make their own private movie theater, and it has survived nearly fifty years intact.

CONDITION
Good overall and fully functional. Projector tested and operates; viewer functions. Plastic housings show scratching, scuffing, and age-appropriate wear, with some debris behind the viewer lenses. The canister exterior shows creasing, edge wear, surface scuffs, and a small area of paper loss/abrasion to the graphic near one of the children's faces. Reels show light handling wear consistent with use.
