17th Century Samuel Hood Sterling Silver Repousse Bowl

This exquisite Sterling Silver Repousse Bowl was made by the London Silversmith Samuel Hood in 1695-1696. It is stamped with Samuel Hood's monogram mark, and the standard three hallmarks for English silver in this period: the crowned leopard, the lion passant, and the date mark letter "s" in a gothic font.
