About the Artist:
Bill Owen, raised in Arizona with artistic roots and a cowboy heritage, quickly rose to legendary status in the Cowboy Artists of America, becoming a member in 1973. Serving as its President three times and earning numerous accolades, Owen's dedication to capturing the essence of Western life through his art was unmatched. Inspired by ranching experiences, his work graced prestigious venues worldwide, from the Whitney Museum in Cody, WY, to the Grand Palais in Paris, France. Despite facing setbacks like losing sight in one eye due to a rodeo accident in 1989, Owen's determination never wavered. He triumphantly returned to his craft in 2002, leaving behind a proud legacy, including the Arizona Cowpuncher's Scholarship Organization, which he founded. With his brand as "the Cowboy Artist," Owen not only painted the life he loved but lived it fully.
