Pair of Navajo Sandpaintings

This pair of authentic Navajo sandpaintings beautifully captures the essence of Navajo healing ceremonies. The first painting, titled 'Untitled,' showcases traditional Navajo symbols, while the second, titled 'Female Yei With Corn,' features a female Yei figure standing beside a stalk of corn. These sandpaintings were traditionally used in healing rituals by Navajo medicine men, who would place patients in the middle of the sandpainting and rub sand from the painting over parts of the patient's body to aid in the healing process.
