About the Artist:
Las Cruces artist Ruth Runyan was well-known for her New Mexico sketches and paintings. Working primarily in watercolor and ink, she studied art at Hastings College in Nebraska, in Denver, Colorado, and at New Mexico State University. She exhibited her work in numerous juried shows in NM and El Paso throughout her career.
