A pleasing watercolor wash over a print of a pen and ink drawing print, featuring the Las Cruces mountain view and desert landscape. Signed and numbered 7/12, and dated 2001. Matted and framed under non-glare glass in a teal-colored stained wooden frame.
About the Artist:
Jack Pumphrey was a talented illustrator and portrait artist, operating from his Las Cruces home studio for twenty years. After serving in the US Air Force, Jack began a 30-year career in the printing equipment business, while always fostering his life-long love of creating art. He was especially well-known for his automotive, aviation, and marine and yacht artwork. He passed away in 2019.
