Wyandotte 1930s “Medical Corps” Pressed Steel Truck with Canvas Top
Step back to the 1930s with this original Wyandotte “Medical Corps” pressed steel truck, a rugged relic from America’s golden age of toy manufacturing. Produced by the All Metal Products Company of Wyandotte, Michigan, this model—often cataloged as No. 430 Ambulance—captures the patriotic spirit of the pre-WWII era, when tin and steel toys mirrored the heroic vehicles of the day.
Finished in its original cream enamel, this truck features bold red cross “Medical Corps” decals on both sides, a stamped Wyandotte mark, and its original canvas canopy, draped over a black wire frame. The sculpted fenders and stylized grille hint at the streamlined automotive designs of the late 1930s, while the open rear bay recalls its wartime ambulance inspiration—some versions even included a stretcher!
Condition:
Good, with light, age-appropriate wear. The paint appears original, showing small chips and gentle surface scratches consistent with age. Decals retain strong color. Canvas top shows some fraying and light toning but remains intact and well-fitted. All structural elements solid; wheels roll freely.

4 3/4" H x 3 3/8" W x 11 7/8" L
