This vintage Franklin Mint spice rack, designed by Gloria Vanderbilt in 1985, showcases timeless craftsmanship. The wooden rack features three shelves and a storage drawer, originally designed to hold 24 porcelain spice jars, though this set includes 19 jars and 21 lids.
Each white porcelain jar is adorned with detailed botanical illustrations representing individual spices, with gold-trimmed accents. The rack itself is made of solid wood with decorative inlay and scalloped edges, making it a stylish and functional kitchen display.
Condition:
In good vintage condition with some signs of age-related wear. Five jars and three lids are missing. The remaining jars are in excellent shape, with no cracks or chips. The wooden rack is sturdy, with minor surface wear consistent with age.
