Hand-formed in earthenware clay and painted with layered acrylics, it reflects the artist’s signature “Canvas on Clay” technique, combining tactile depth with painterly nuance.

The plaque is stamped “MK” in the lower right corner and is designed to be wall-mounted. It comes with the original artist pamphlet and a signed Certificate of Authenticity. ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Maria Kenarova is a Bulgarian-born ceramicist with a Master of Fine Arts from the National Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia. Since moving to the U.S. in 1993, she has worked alongside her husband, painter Miro Kenarov, as part of the KenarovART studio in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Maria’s internationally exhibited work focuses on natural forms, seasonal changes, and cultural storytelling through richly carved and painted ceramic reliefs. Her Canvas on Clay series blends painting and sculptural form in a signature visual language that is both earthy and expressive.
