Rolling Stones Let It Bleed LP NPS-4 – London Blue Stereo, Cake Cover
Original 1969 U.S. stereo pressing of Let It Bleed by the Rolling Stones, released on London Records (NPS-4). This edition features the distinctive blue “London Stereophonic” label and includes iconic tracks like “Gimme Shelter,” “Midnight Rambler,” and “You Can’t Always Get What You Want.” The album was produced by Jimmy Miller, with all selections written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards (except “Love in Vain” by Robert Johnson).
The memorable front and back cover design, created by Robert Brownjohn, showcases a surreal assemblage: a cake-topped sculpture made of a record, film can, tire, and pizza—all punctuated with mini band figurines. This artwork has since become one of the most recognized covers in rock history.
This single LP copy is a collectible piece from one of the band’s most celebrated and transitional albums, bridging blues roots with emerging rock grandeur.
