Ludwig “The Beatles” Bass Drum — Black Oyster Pearl, Evans Head, Gibraltar Pad
This Ludwig bass drum pays homage to one of the most iconic instruments in rock history. Finished in Ludwig’s classic Black Oyster Pearl wrap, it replicates the style of Ringo Starr’s drum used during The Beatles’ rise to international fame. The front features a custom white Remo UT resonant head emblazoned with “The Beatles” in the famous drop-T logo—originally designed in 1963 by Ivor Arbiter.
The batter side is fitted with an Evans EQ4 clear head, enhanced with a Gibraltar click pad and mic port for modern playability. It includes classic Ludwig chrome hardware, curved spurs, and a single tom mount bracket. While not pictured, a pair of Zildjian Select Hickory 7A drumsticks is also included.
Whether for performance, collection, or display, this drum offers vintage style with contemporary usability—a tribute to both music history and Ludwig craftsmanship.
Condition:
Good condition overall. Fully functional and tested with light signs of use. Some cosmetic wear consistent with age, including minor surface marks and light wear on the heads. Chrome hardware is clean and operational. Please refer to photos for exact condition.
