The drop-front opens to a writing surface supported by automatic slide-out arms, revealing a beautifully organized interior with divided pigeonhole compartments, three small drawers with brass knobs (approx. 1.5" height), a carved-door cabinet (6" x 5"), and two secret compartments discreetly integrated into the design. The desk includes its original key and locks securely when closed.
