Description

Nicole Alcorn and her friend Amy Felix decided they wanted to do something different for their new careers, so on March 18, 2023, they opened Aspen & Ivy Boutique in Cloudcroft, NM. Now Nicole owns Aspen & Ivy by herself, and enjoys helping folks find the perfect gift, whether for themselves or a loved one. We appreciate Nicole’s donation of a gift certificate from her cool and funky boutique in support of 1CaT.

About the Boutique:

Aspen & Ivy Boutique is the kind of place you walk into and are intrigued with the variety of merchandise that is available. Owner Nicole Alcorn wanted to carry different and unique items, such as natural body treatments like lotions and shampoos, natural laundry detergent, and organic cloth shirts and totes. Several local artists are represented at Aspen & Ivy, including a painter, potter and jeweler. Nicole is trying to help cut waste in our world, so she has set up a refill station for shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and body wash. Bring in your own containers, and help Nicole save a tiny bit of our planet! Also included in Nicole’s collection are succulent gardens, jewelry, and fun tea towels. Aspen & Ivy’s cofounder Amy loves to embroider, and enhances some items for Nicole, including the beanies like the one you can see in the previous lot. Amy is happy to embroider items that customers bring in; just ask Nicole. Amy’s husband Kurt works for the Forest Service, and is helping to save our planet locally. He cleans up trash from the forest, and uses that stuff to make earrings. Aspen & Ivy changed locations a few months ago, and now they are in the back building next to Dave’s Café. As soon as you have a chance, stop by Aspen & Ivy Boutique, and tell Nicole we sent you!
