"Navajo Madonna", Needlepoint of Ted DeGrazia Angels, View Watchlist >
by Sib Strange, Cloudcroft, NM
Our local friend Sib Strange donated this needlepoint that she has had for quite a number of years. Sib was an avid needlepointer in the 1970s, ‘80s and ‘90s. Most evenings during those years, she would work on some art piece that she was into at that moment. As she stated, “Doing needlepoint kept me sane during those years of working full time and raising my family.” She created many, many needlepoint pieces, and now she is sharing several of her prized art with 1CaT. Thank you, Sib, for your kindness and generosity to our kitties! See the closeup photos to see more details of this nicely executed needlepoint project of Sib’s. This piece has brought pleasure for many years, and needs to be hung in an art lover's home to be enjoyed for many more years to come. Some artist friends estimate the value of this framed vintage needlepoint to be $50-$75.
