Off the Beaten Path co-owner Berle Van Zandt created this piece a while ago, and no one has needed it yet. Using leather cord and sterling silver and Argentium silver findings, this functional eyeglass leash (🕶️peeper👓 keeper) is worn as a necklace, and one earpiece of your eyeglasses slips into the large ring. Voila! You know where your glasses are! For those of you who don’t know, Argentium silver is similar to sterling, but has more fine silver and germanium in it, which makes it more tarnish-resistant than sterling silver. Our Cloudcroft, NM gift shop/gallery Off the Beaten Path co-owner Berle Van Zandt creates almost all of the jewelry our shop currently carries, and she loves doing it. About 30 years ago, Clem Rand, Berle's mother-in-law, gave her a roll of leather. Berle bought a few beads, and thus began her creative phase. Luckily for us, this phase has continued to grow and evolve.
