Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver & Coral Concho Belt – 14 Conchos + Buckle
This vintage Navajo concho belt features 14 oval sterling silver conchos and a matching buckle, each centered with a bezel-set red coral cabochon. The conchos are individually hand-stamped with traditional Navajo motifs including sunburst rays, scalloped borders, and teardrop designs. Set on a 43-inch black leather strap, the conchos are domed and slightly contoured, each with a sawtooth bezel surrounding natural orange coral stones. The buckle echoes the same stamped pattern, creating a cohesive and bold Southwestern look.
Tested as sterling silver, this piece showcases mid-20th-century Native American craftsmanship, likely from the 1950s–70s. The backs of the conchos reveal copper loop sliders, a classic construction method in vintage Navajo belts. With its rich detail, warm patina, and vibrant coral, this belt is both a wearable art piece and a collector's item.
