Roseville Gardenia Console Bowl 632-14 — Matte Green, 1940s
A beautifully molded Roseville Pottery console bowl in the Gardenia pattern, shape 632-14, dating to the 1940s. This elongated, double-handled form features a raised white gardenia blossom with surrounding green foliage set against a softly shaded matte green and golden ochre background. The high-relief decoration and graceful curvature reflect the late Art Deco aesthetic with a naturalistic touch.
This piece is marked on the base “Roseville U.S.A. 632-14” and showcases the company’s signature use of airbrushed matte glaze finishes with subtle hand-painted detailing. Its broad, low form makes it ideal as a centerpiece, planter, or collector display piece.
A fine example of American art pottery craftsmanship from one of the most beloved Ohio-based manufacturers.
