Bearing Spec No. 23-79-C and Stock No. 26-L-294, it was issued through the Chicago Quartermaster Depot, serving as a steadfast companion to a soldier through the trials of World War II.

Constructed with durable materials, the trunk features a classic olive drab finish, reinforced black metal trim, and robust leather side handles. Its security is ensured by a brass lock stamped "Corbin Cabinet Lock Co. C513, New Britain, Conn," accompanied by two original keys—a testament to the enduring quality of American manufacturing.
