Contemporary Studio Ceramic Planters – Blue Terracotta & Romanian Pair

A striking pair of contemporary studio ceramic planters, each with unique form and finish. The larger example features a rich blue glaze over classic terracotta construction, with a flared lip and substantial proportions. Unmarked, this piece has the handmade feel and visual texture typical of artisan pottery.

The smaller planter is a smooth, wheel-thrown ceramic pot marked “IMPORT ASSOCIATES – MADE IN ROMANIA” on the underside. It comes with a matching saucer and showcases a neutral beige glaze with subtle rim gradation—ideal for minimalist or Scandinavian-inspired spaces.

Condition

Good condition, never used. Both planters are structurally sound with clean surfaces. The blue planter has light scuffing at the base from storage; no chips or cracks noted.
