Eastlake Walnut Cylinder Roll Secretary Desk – Burl Accents, c.1880s

An antique Eastlake secretary desk, dating to the 1880s, with solid walnut construction and striking burl wood accents. The cylindrical roll-top reveals a pull-out writing surface and six divided compartments. Below, five dovetail drawers with wood handles and a paneled cabinet door provide ample storage. The desk is fitted with glass knobs and brass escutcheons. A finished back allows for versatile placement, making it a timeless addition to any interior.

Condition:

In good condition, exhibiting wear consistent with age. Notable imperfections include surface stains, discoloration, scuffing, minor veneer chips on the front, and burn marks on the writing surface. The roll-top mechanism operates smoothly; however, the key is missing.
