Sears Merry Mushroom Cookie Jar + S&P Shakers — Vintage 8343, Excellent

Included are a large cookie jar and matching salt and pepper shakers, each featuring a textured faux-wood grain body and whimsical, hand-painted mushroom designs in warm creams, browns, and oranges. A ladybug accent on each lid adds a delightful finishing touch.
The cookie jar is marked “8343” on the underside, a model number associated with the Merry Mushroom line, which was produced in Japan for Sears and quickly became a hallmark of retro kitchen décor. Condition:
The glaze is glossy and vibrant. The salt and pepper shakers are missing their original stoppers; standard corks can be substituted. Minor manufacturing imperfections are present on the cookie jar lid, as shown in photos. A U.S. quarter is pictured for scale.
