A striking Chinese cloisonné enamel vase featuring vibrant chrysanthemums and butterflies against a rich cobalt blue ground. This piece exemplifies traditional cloisonné craftsmanship with intricate wirework and vividly colored enamel.
The baluster-form vase showcases detailed floral and fauna motifs, with a continuous pattern of auspicious clouds enhancing its visual texture. The design is complemented by gilt-bronze rims at the foot and mouth, and the base is enameled in matching blue, bearing remnants of old stickers but no visible maker’s mark.
Condition:
In very good condition with no dents or structural damage. The enamel remains bright and intact, with only light toning to the gilt metal rims and minor surface wear consistent with age.
