Antique Lundstrom 3 Stack Bookcase — Leaded Glass, Claw Feet, 1904
An early 20th-century three-stack sectional barrister bookcase by The C. J. Lundstrom Mfg. Co. of Little Falls, NY, circa 1904. This piece features a top section with a leaded glass door, a hallmark of Lundstrom's craftsmanship, and a base drawer supported by claw feet. The design includes a blanket roll top cap and paneled sides, reflecting the Arts & Crafts aesthetic.
While the original label is absent, the construction and style are consistent with Lundstrom's patented designs from this era. The modular sections allow for flexible arrangement, and the interior showcases a lighter wood finish, providing a pleasing contrast to the dark-stained exterior.
Condition:
In good condition overall with visible signs of use. Surface wear includes scratches, scuffs, and finish loss throughout. The leaded glass panel is intact; lower glass doors are also complete. The base drawer pull handles are absent and the upper sections handles are not original and are mismatched. The carved feet show some edge wear. Despite cosmetic imperfections, the case is solid and fully functional.
