Chinese Watercolor – Apples in Basket, Signed & Dated 1993
Delicate Chinese watercolor painting depicting a woven basket brimming with green apples, with several fruits scattered at its base. Rendered in a fluid and expressive style, the artwork is accompanied by traditional Chinese calligraphy and a red artist’s seal. The inscription includes a date (1993), with the artist's signature written vertically at right. Framed under glass in a brushed gold-tone frame with a soft neutral mat. Originally framed by Museum Quality Framing in 2019 using a customer-supplied mat. A serene and contemplative still life, ideal for collectors of East Asian art or meditative botanical studies.
Condition:
Good overall. The artwork is clean and well-protected behind glass. The frame shows some visible scratches and surface wear, primarily to the metallic finish. Mat and glazing remain in good condition with no visible issues.
