This mid‑1980s Haro ESX freestyle BMX pairs a 4130 chromoly twin‑top‑tube frame (serial #87053129) with era‑correct components. Five‑spoke Skyway Tuff Wheel II composite mags reduce weight while adding classic style. Braking is handled by black Dia‑Compe Nippon calipers equipped with Kool‑Stop pads and Weinmann semi‑automatic adjusters. The drivetrain features a one‑piece crank, large Pro‑Neck chainring, and Shimano PD‑MX15 bear‑trap pedals, while a Dynamax saddle sits on a lay‑back post for flat‑land tricks. Bolt‑on fork platforms and tall freestyle bars complete the period specification, offering collectors an authentic snapshot of BMX’s formative freestyle era.
