Stanley Mid-Century Wardrobe Chest — 10 Drawers, Brass Pulls, Model 760-14
Mid-century modern “Mrs. Dressing Chest” by Stanley Furniture, model 760-14, crafted circa 1960s as part of a his-and-hers dressing suite. Designed to accompany the “Mr. Dressing Chest” (model 760-13, sold separately), this vanity features a wide framed mirror with integrated overhead lighting, two drawers with original brass pulls, and a matching black vinyl-tufted seat on casters that tucks neatly underneath.
Built with solid wood and veneer construction over a Masonite back, this piece reflects Stanley’s clean-lined, functional aesthetic of the era. The drawers offer practical storage for cosmetics or accessories, while the generous mirror makes this an elegant and useful addition to any bedroom or dressing area. A fine example of cohesive mid-century American design.
Condition:
In good vintage condition, exhibiting moderate scuffing consistent with age and use. The right door does not close completely flush, and there is a 1-inch chip on the bottom rear right edge. The original key is not included. Interior components, including drawers and shelves, are functional, and the brass hardware remains intact.
Dimensions:
- Height: 60 inches
- Width: 38 inches
- Depth: 18.5 inches
