Famille Rose Court Scene Charger w/ Stand, Qianlong Mark, 18″
Boldly painted in the famille-rose palette, this impressive 18-inch porcelain charger portrays a lively palace audience—scholars, courtiers and child dancers—framed by a luxuriant peony-and-treasure border. The reverse carries four floral sprays and an iron-red six-character Qianlong seal mark, likely applied during the Republic period in homage to the 18th-century imperial style. Offered together with its carved hardwood display stand, the piece brings vivid colour, fine line-work and substantial scale to any setting. A striking focal point for collectors of Qing-inspired enamelled wares.
Condition
Good overall: enamels remain bright; light rim wear from display. A single, stable hairline crack is present on the underside (does not extend to the painted face). No over-painting or restoration observed. Please review all photos.
