Vintage Sommerso Art Glass Bowls – Blue/Green & Pink/Yellow, Thick-Walled
Pair of vintage blown glass bowls in the Sommerso style, featuring bold inner colors encased in thick clear crystal. The larger piece displays layered blue and green glass with walls approximately 1 inch thick, while the smaller bowl showcases a yellow and pink core with about 7/8 inch thickness. Both are unmarked but have polished bases—typical of mid-century Murano-inspired craftsmanship.
These handblown forms are substantial in weight and visually striking, making them ideal as accent pieces or collectible art glass. The interplay of submerged color and transparency reflects the hallmark techniques of Venetian glassmakers, though no specific maker is confirmed.
