Rosenthal Studio-Linie Siena Brown Dinnerware Set — 18pc Handgemalt, MCM Germany
This 18-piece dinnerware set comes from the sought-after Siena Brown series by Rosenthal Studio-Linie, designed and produced in West Germany during the mid-20th century. Known for its earthy tones and functional modernist aesthetic, Siena Brown features hand-painted decoration (Handgemalt) and minimalist forms typical of Rosenthal’s 1970s design ethos.
Included are six 10-inch divided plates with a stylized brown foliate motif, six low-form 2 x 4-inch bowls, five straight-sided 3-inch mugs, and one 3 x 2-inch toothpick holder. Each plate is signed “Handgemalt” and impressed on the underside with the Rosenthal Studio-Linie Germany mark.
Condition:
In good vintage condition overall, with some surface and glaze wear consistent with age and use. A few areas show minor finish loss, but there are no cracks, chips, or structural damage. Please refer to images for complete details.
