Antique Iron & Wood Gates – Hinged, Mortise Joinery, 45" Tall
A distinctive pair of antique solid wood gates with iron hardware, removed from the restoration of a structure. These authentically rustic gates feature mortise and tenon construction, robust vertical slats below, and shaped baluster-style spindles above. Each gate is mounted with heavy iron hinges and requires three bolts per panel for installation.
These gates offer both architectural charm and functional sturdiness. Their weathered black finish and timeworn details make them ideal for use as entry gates, garden accents, or statement wall décor. A unique survivor of historic craftsmanship.
Condition:
Good condition with signs of age and outdoor use. Surface wear, patina to iron, and minor joint separations are present but do not affect structural integrity. See photos for close-ups of wear and character.
