Deruta Italian Majolica Pottery — Lidded Bowl & Vase, Hand-Painted
A beautifully hand-painted pair of Italian Majolica ceramics from Deruta, including a pedestal bowl with lid and a rounded vase. Both pieces are marked: “Dip A. Mano Deruta” and “M. Deruta 459/20,” signifying their artisan-made quality. The bowl features lively floral and scroll motifs in cobalt blue, green, orange, and yellow, complemented by a coordinating lid with a bold finial. The vase displays geometric and stylized designs with warm earthy tones and fine hand-applied detailing.
This set reflects the rich tradition of Deruta craftsmanship, ideal as functional decor or collectible display.
Condition:
Excellent overall, with no cracks or chips. There is a glaze imperfection on the inner rim of the pedestal bowl, as shown in photos.
