Description

Mid-Century Carved Hardstone Fruits — Grapes, Apples & Buddha’s Hand Citron

A charming mid-century group of four carved hardstone fruits, featuring a pale green grape cluster, two differently shaped apples, and a sculptural Buddha’s Hand citron. The stones range in tone from pale celadon to yellow-green and are likely composed of jadeite and serpentine, typical of Chinese export carvings from the mid-20th century. Each fruit is accented with metal leaves, faux-wood stems, and blue textile cord for a naturalistic and playful finish. Unmarked but consistent with vintage Chinese decorative stonework, this set offers visual interest and material variety—ideal for curio cabinets, kitchen shelves, or tabletop displays.
