Amish-Made “Curvy Log Cabin” Quilt – Village Quilts, Maker Marked, 111" x 96"
This Amish-made “Curvy Log Cabin” quilt was crafted in 2005 by artisan Rachael Lantz for Village Quilts at Kitchen Kettle Village, Intercourse, Pennsylvania. Part of a celebrated collective of Amish and Mennonite quilters, each Village Quilts creation is entirely handmade, signed, and dated by its maker, and includes a certificate of authenticity. This striking example features the curving variation of the classic Log Cabin pattern, pieced in rich shades of red, olive, cream, gold, and deep purple with floral and geometric accents. The intricate block arrangement forms a central medallion, framed by cream and olive borders and a vibrant floral outer border.
Constructed from premium cotton fabrics with a floral-print backing, this heirloom-quality quilt measures an ample 111" x 96", fitting a Full or Queen bed with generous overhang. It retains its original maker’s patch on the reverse and comes with the original Village Quilts certificate. Originally retailing around $700, this piece represents both the artistry and heritage of Lancaster County Amish quilt-making.
