This listing features a 1922 Peace Dollar struck at the Denver Mint, identifiable by the “D” mintmark on the reverse beneath the eagle. Designed by Anthony de Francisci, the obverse depicts Liberty wearing a radiant crown, while the reverse shows a perched bald eagle with rays of the rising sun behind it, symbolizing peace. The Peace Dollar series was issued from 1921 to 1935 and remains a key U.S. silver dollar type of the 20th century.
