International Sterling “Damask Rose” Weighted Compote, 6.75” Dia.
A sterling silver compote by International Silver Co., in the elegant Damask Rose pattern, first introduced in 1939. This pedestal dish features a floral rose motif around the rim, a tapered stem, and a round weighted base for stability. Marked on the underside “Heirloom Sterling, Reinforced, Weighted, Damask Rose, 31-0.”
A timeless example of mid-century sterling silver craftsmanship, ideal as a serving piece or decorative centerpiece. Its refined design and collectible pattern make it a desirable addition to any silver collection.
Condition
Good condition overall with tarnish and wear consistent with age. A visible dent inside the bowl and another on the base. We will leave polishing to the buyer.
