Mexican Folk Art “Amor Seguro” Shrine by El Santo Madrazo
Hand-crafted Mexican folk art wall hanging by El Santo Madrazo (Cielito Lindo Estudio), made in Mexico. Titled “Amor Seguro” (“Love Insurance”), this exuberant shrine is constructed from steel, clay, glass beads, bottle caps, and milagros. At its center are seven inset panels, each framed in vibrant colors and glitter, depicting a devotional figure and its promise:
- Virgen de Regla – Te trae armonía (Brings you harmony)
- Santa Muerte – Te da amor eterno (Gives you eternal love)
- Juana de Arco – Te da valor (Gives you courage)
- San Antonio – Te consigue pareja (Will get you a mate)
- Virgen del Cobre – Te llena de amor (Will fill you with love)
- San Valentín – Mantiene la llama encendida (Keeps the flame burning)
- Virgen del Monte Carmel – Te evita infidelidades (Avoids infidelity)
The shrine is topped with a gold-painted cross and arched sky-blue canopy inscribed “Amor Seguro.” Colorful hearts anchor seven functional hooks along the base. Decorative side panels feature small figures, sculpted lips, milagros, bottle caps, and glass bead details, while the reverse bears the artist’s label and English translations of the blessings.
