Jemez Hand-Painted Pottery Bowl & 2 Miniature Pitchers
Offered here is a lot of three hand-painted Jemez pottery pieces, including one bowl and two miniature handled pitchers. The bowl features a scalloped rim and bold geometric designs in red, blue, orange, and black, measuring approximately 4" high with a 5" diameter. The two small pitchers, one in a lighter clay body and the other in darker tones, are decorated with colorful feather and geometric motifs characteristic of Jemez artistry. Their compact scale makes them charming display accents while still showcasing the vivid traditional patterns.
The grouping reflects the vibrant and expressive style for which Jemez Pueblo pottery is well known, making this a desirable addition for collectors of Southwestern or Native American ceramics.
Condition:
Good overall condition, with scuffing, finish wear, and light color bleed/stains consistent with age. The pitchers show minor rim wear and surface scuffs, while the bowl has scattered paint rubs and light marks, as shown in photos. All pieces remain stable and display beautifully.
