Hand-carved and hand-painted owl alebrije by artisan Jesús Hernández of San Martín Tilcajete, Oaxaca, Mexico. Made from copal wood, this vibrant figure is decorated in bold red, blue, purple, and green with finely detailed patterns and expressive eyes. A geometric starburst adorns the head, complementing the meticulous scale-like motifs across the body. The distinctive palette and craftsmanship highlight the artistry of Hernández’s Copal Mágico workshop, known for collectible Oaxacan folk art.
