This lot includes four Franklin Half Dollars dated 1962 and 1963, all minted in Denver and composed of 90% silver. The group contains two coins from 1962 and two from 1963, each bearing the "D" mintmark above the Liberty Bell on the reverse. Designed by John R. Sinnock, this final-era issue of the Franklin series features a portrait of Benjamin Franklin and the iconic Liberty Bell design. These coins represent the last years of Franklin Half Dollar production before the Kennedy series began in 1964.
