Pair of Chinese Cloisonné Vase and Bowl with Wood Pedestals, Blue Floral

Pair of Chinese cloisonné enamel vessels, including a tall baluster-form vase and a rounded bowl, each mounted on carved wood pedestals. Both pieces feature intricate floral decoration in rich shades of blue, green, and turquoise, outlined in gilt wire against a deep blue ground. The bowl is decorated both inside and out, while the vase displays a graceful tapering profile with gilt rims and base. Finely executed with elegant color transitions and classic form, this ensemble presents beautifully as a matching display set.

Condition

Good condition overall. The vase shows a dent along the bottom rim and a small chip mostly confined to the underside, not distracting when displayed. Light scuffing and oxidation are present inside the vase. The bowl exhibits minor scuffs to the interior and light surface wear. Both retain good gloss and color throughout.
