Description

Pendleton Beaver State “Peñasco” Wool Blanket — Early 2000s, 80" x 62.5"

Beautiful Beaver State “Peñasco” wool blanket by Pendleton Woolen Mills, made in the USA in the early 2000s. This finely woven textile showcases Pendleton’s renowned craftsmanship with a bold Peñasco geometric pattern, inspired by Southwestern and Native American motifs. The design features stylized arrows, stepped forms, and symmetrical diamonds in a refined palette of taupe, beige, grey, and black. Crafted from an 82% wool and 18% cotton blend, the blanket offers exceptional warmth and durability, finished with black felt binding and the classic blue-and-gold “Beaver State – Pendleton Woolen Mills” label at one corner.

Part of Pendleton’s respected Beaver State Robes and Shawls line, this pattern is less common than the brand’s standard releases, making it a desirable piece for collectors and enthusiasts of American woolens. Perfect as a decorative accent, bed covering, or statement throw.

Condition:

Excellent condition. Signs of gentle use only, with no odors, stains, or damage noted. Fabric remains soft and vibrant, and edges are clean and intact.

Dimensions:

80" x 62.5" (approx.)

The “Beaver State” label represents Pendleton’s heritage line, originally introduced in the early 20th century and continued in select limited runs. The Peñasco pattern, produced in the early 2000s, reflects the company’s enduring legacy of high-quality American wool weaving and its long-standing collaborations with Native-inspired designs.
