Description

1976 Snoopy and Woodstock Telephone — ATC, Peanuts Collectible

Charming 1976 Snoopy and Woodstock Telephone produced by American Telecommunications Corporation of El Monte, California, under license from United Feature Syndicate, Inc. A delightful example of 1970s design innovation, this sculptural novelty phone features Snoopy standing proudly beside Woodstock atop a faux wood-grain base with a red keypad and bright yellow handset. The underside bears the 1976 ATC mark, along with Western Electric service and serial labels, confirming it was configured for the Bell System network.

Novelty telephones like this emerged in the 1970s as technology and home décor merged—allowing homeowners to express personality through everyday devices. This officially licensed Peanuts model captured the humor and warmth of Charles M. Schulz’s iconic characters, making it an enduring pop-culture favorite. Both functional and decorative, it remains highly collectible among Peanuts fans, mid-century design enthusiasts, and telecom historians alike.

With the addition of a Bluetooth adapter, this vintage phone can even connect through your cellphone, allowing you to use its original handset.
