A striking and substantial pair of bookends sculpted from genuine banded onyx, each forming a stylized horse-head motif reminiscent of a chess knight. The natural stone displays rich horizontal striations in warm caramel, honey and creamy ivory tones — a hallmark of onyx’s layered formation.
Each piece stands approximately 9″ tall, 2.5″ wide and 4″ deep, with a combined weight of approximately 3 lbs 7.5 oz, ensuring both decorative presence and functional heft. The bases feature flathead screw-mounted hardware on the underside, enabling secure attachment and grounding.
