Elgin B.W. Raymond 21J Railroad Pocket Watch – 10K Gold-Filled Keystone Case with Chain & Display Dome
Classic Elgin B.W. Raymond railroad-grade pocket watch, featuring a 21-jewel movement (serial no. 29149789) finely damascened and marked “Adjusted 5 Positions.” Housed in a Keystone J. Boss 10K gold-filled case (serial no. 9602033), this timepiece exemplifies the precision and durability demanded by early 20th-century rail standards. The pale dial displays bold black Arabic numerals with red five-minute increments and a subsidiary seconds register at six.
Accompanied by a gold-tone chain (6 7/8") and a wood-and-glass display dome, ideal for presentation or preservation. A handsome and collectible piece of American horological craftsmanship from the Elgin National Watch Company’s renowned B.W. Raymond line.
Condition:
In good condition overall. It runs briefly, but will need service to functional fully. Light surface wear and patina consistent with age; polishing has been left to the buyer’s discretion.
