17" Tarahumara Terracotta Drum with Sinew Lacing & Wood Stand
Echoing the living rhythms of northern Mexico’s Sierra Madre, this Tarahumara terracotta drum embodies the artistry and spirit of the Rarámuri people. Hand-shaped from earthen clay and bound with sinew cords, it rests atop a rustic wooden stand crafted from natural branches. The surface reveals textured impressions and smoke-fired tones, giving each piece its own distinct character — no two are ever quite alike.
