1972 Syroco Seagull Wall Plaques – Mid-Century Modern Coastal Set
This striking set of vintage wall-hanging seagull plaques is maker-marked Syroco, Inc. and dated MCMLXXII (1972), corresponding to the company’s model #4772. Crafted in molded plastic during Syroco’s 1960s–70s transition away from wood-resin blends, these pieces showcase the firm’s signature elongated coastal bird design with smooth sculptural curves and hollow-backed construction. Originally produced in metallic or neutral finishes, this set has been fully refinished in a vivid pink tone, giving the classic mid-century form a bold contemporary flair.
