This hand-painted Bulgarian Orthodox icon depicts the Virgin Mary with the Christ Child in a stylized Feodorovskaya composition. Created by the Ermini workshop, it is rendered on a solid 0.75-inch wooden slab using traditional techniques stated on the accompanying certificate. Warm gold and earthen tones highlight the expressive, elongated features typical of regional devotional art, while hand-applied detailing enhances its spiritual presence. The reverse bears the original Ermini certificate, noting Bulgaria as the place of origin and identifying the artist as Rumen Nochev.
